A woman has been found guilty of murdering her two young sons. Donna Fitchett, 49, had pleaded not guilty in the Victorian Supreme Court to murdering sons Thomas, 11, and Matthew, 9, at their Balwyn North home in Melbourne on September 6, 2005. Her ex-husband David Fitchett broke down as the verdict was read out. Mr Fitchett was comforted and hugged by emotional family as his wife was led from the court.

Perth was shocked by the disappearance and murder of Perth woman Corryn Rayney in August 2007. WA Police appealing for public help to trace the movement of Mrs Rayney after she left a bootscooting class at the Bentley Community Centre about 9:30pm on Tuesday August 7. Mrs Rayney's silver Ford Fairmont car was found abandoned in Kershaw Street, Subiaco a week after she vanished. A trail of oil from the car led police to the grave site in Kings Park.
